Bath County Public Schools went to Chicago to compete for the national championship in wind turbine design through a program called KidWind. We competed against about 60 of the best teams in the county. We came away from the competition with a first place finish. All of the students performed well. The county could not have been better represented. Some of these students will end up going into renewable energy. All of the students will have job related skills such as the ability to collaborate and work as a team that are valued by Virginia companies.
Congrats to all of the students who participated!
