Bath County Public Schools is a small division. We continue to push our students to excel and to develop skills that will assist them with their 21st century jobs. Roanoke Times did an editorial on our students in the KidWind program. Our students work hard when preparing for the KidWind challenge and put in afterschool and weekend hours to be competitive. The high school KidWind program is run through Mertz Career and Technical Education Center and the program at Valley Elementary is offered as an enrichment activity. The students who participate in KidWind apply concepts learned in their core classes to creating solutions to the problem of generating electricity from wind.
